About WSIB Services
At Mills | Gosse Psychology, we are here to help injured workers. If you have been injured at work or have experienced a traumatic work event, you may be entitled to treatment and supports through the WSIB. This includes first responders, as well as many other kinds of workers. Psychological symptoms and impairments following a work injury or traumatic work experiences can be common. Some symptoms may include anxiety or depression, fears of the workplace or re-injury, sleeplessness, irritability or anger, social challenges, difficulty completing work duties, or needing to take time off work due to a work injury.
If you are experiencing work-related psychological symptoms and already have a WSIB claim (with an 8-digit WSIB claim number), we will contact WSIB on your behalf to determine if you are covered for services. We will begin with an initial assessment, conducted in-person or virtually by secure video, with one of our clinicians. Once approved, we will provide psychological treatment services to address work-related impairments, funded by the WSIB. All along the way, we will help you navigate the WSIB system and provide you with additional information and support.
Psychological treatment services may be conducted by qualified therapists, under supervision, and may not be performed by a psychologist directly.

Therapy appointments can be held in-person, by phone or virtually by secure video.
